MOJITOP.COM is just a group of friends rooted in Barcelona, who would like to contribute to improve the level of the mojitos in the city.
We like to do expeditions in the city, and sometimes we invite the blog followers.
If you have suggestions, you are more than welcome to share them with us too!

We like to "conquer" Bars, which means to visit them and evaluate their mojitos.
About barris, we often visit Gràcia, Poble Sec, Raval and Born, but we've also been to more exotic places like Eixample and Barceloneta.

To explore all the possibilities, we also try out different recipes for mojitos and their variations.
Also from time to time we'll report on curisities related to mojitos, like the mojitos we taste in other cities.

Mojitos with Mexican touch at Rosa Negra

Price: €7 (happy hour on mojitos on Mondays €3,50 Monday to Friday 18.00-20.00)

We went for dinner at the Rosa Negra, a crowded Mexican restaurant with great atmosphere. We couldn't resist their mojito offering: classic, strawberry and virgin. All three went down very well while waiting for our meal, so we had another round of our instant favourite, the strawberry mojito.

Being at a restaurant with very busy staff, we couldn't get hold of the recipe. We should try harder next time. In all we enjoyed the drink, and the place has good vibes, but we might not go there just for the mojito. If thirsting for a mojito in La Ribera, we choose another Mexican place just around the corner: Chico Chango.
